Multi-weapon vs single weapon
Should the player use multiple weapons, or be limited to one?

If going single weapon, need many upgrades for weapons to make them powerful…

Fireball
Lob a fireball in an arc from the player. Should deal AOE damage where it lands.

Damage effects
Could be things like bleed, poison, burn, chill. Could be weapon-specific.

ARPG-style loot?
Randomly-generated loot like in ARPGs. Should affect different attacks.
Could also have unique drops, which provide powerfull buffs, but usually with a downside.

Add stuff for the various modifiers, to be used in the levelup pickup screen
